The Middle Land
An ongoing series initiated in 2014, examining the high altitude landscape of Ladakh. Located in between Pakistan and Tibet. It is one of the most culturally diverse yet least populated regions of India. Only connected by road in the 1960’s, it is a place that is experiencing rapid change and growth. This series examines this man altered terrain of both past and present.
